Unfurling Voices is an expansive, multi-story wall relief sculpture composed of coiled and painted aluminum sheets. Stacks of scrolls seem to emerge from the wall. The gesture of the unrolling scroll represents how the law is embodied by people: the law as practical wisdom. Viewed from top to bottom, the scrolls begin to unfurl, transforming into topographic lines that recall the rolling landscape of Howard County.
